My first bottle of wine made by Ezel winery.

This is a relatively new winery located in Denizli region and founded in 2006.

As many other Turkish rosés, this wine is made from indigenous Kalecik Karası.

I like the label, I like the pale pink colour too.

On the nose, some hints of strawberries and white cherries.

The palate is a bit flat. There is no complexity and the acidity is rather low.

Nothing vibrant but it’s still refreshing with its aromas of black currant and citrus.

I think I would use this wine with some spicy dishes.
