Yet another example of a grape which almost disappeared and was saved by Vinkara winery! This winery is very much dedicated to indigenous grape varietals. This white grape is originated from Kazmaca area in Anatolia. Its name means ” Grandad Hasan”.

Its berries are thin-skinned and medium-sized. The wines usually have a greenish yellow colour with golden reflections. Even if not very complexed, they are delicate with a slightly creamy texture.

Aromas : Citrus (Lemon, grapefruit), herbal (mint, lemongrass), green apple, apricot, honey.

It matches well to a salmon from the Black Sea.
