I have drunk so many bottles of Suvla Blush Karasakiz while living in Türkiye.

Still let me say a few words about this new edition.

This Karasakız was produced with the “Saignée” method in the Suvla winery after hand-harvest.

That means bleeding the juice as opposed to a direct press.

In the glass a bright copper rose color.

On the medium nose aromas of raspberries, peach and grapefruit with hints of Mediterranean herbs and spices.

On the palate dry, medium plus bodied with medium acidity and freshness. Round, soft and elegant with enough power. Light tannins and nice structure.

Nothing has changed. It’s still one of my favourite Turkish rosés.
