Urlice Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon Syrah 2012 : I must say I hadn’t been so impressed by a Turkish red wine for a while. This little winery located near Izmir and not far from a bigger player (Urla winery) is responsible for it. What a beautiful smell! A sensual mix of black fruits (prune and black cherry) and spices. A gentle attack with molten tannins and a long finish with cooked fruits and chocolate. Marvellous! Love it!!! 87 TL. Much better than some well known wines around 110/120 TL. But not so easy to find in Istanbul…
