I discovered Selendi, a “boutique” winery situated near Izmir, not so long ago. I had tasted their rosé called Gülpembe and really loved it.
Well, this time, this blend of two French grapevines didn’t seduced me. This pale golden wine has a very nice aromatic nose with citrus and vanilla notes. But once in the mouth it seems to search its way between acidity and creaminess. Not perfectly well balanced and with a quite short finish, it’s for me a bit of a disappointment.
