Strong grape created by crossing Grenache and Malbec. Caladoc is not allowed for AOC wines in France. You will find it in small appellations in southwest France. In Turkey Chamlija is the only winemaker to use it.

Wines made from Caladoc manage to have strong tannins that stay soft and balanced without bitterness at the same time.

It has a dark and purple colour. On the nose you feel immediately black fruits (plum, black currant, mulberry), eucalyptus, black pepper and some hints of leather.

The palate is rich and tannic with medium acidity.

A very interesting wine that will pair well with grilled red meat!
