Kastro Tireli is a winery located in Manisa Province, Aegean region. That’s another new winery for me. And just like in Urlice Winery, they cultivate wine with as less intervention as they can so no pesticide here!

Let’s taste now this blend of Syrah and Mourvèdre!

On the nose it’s quite fruity with aromas of black fruits, cooked fruits, musc, underwood and some peppery notes.

On the palate it feels quite tannic and strong but perfectly balanced.

There are again some peppery notes with amazing flavours of blackberry jam and vanilla. The finish is long with hints of liquorice and bay leaves.

A beautiful wine that proves it’s possible to make wine the natural way!
