Tronia is the brand of a trio of winemakers. They all worked or are still working with other wineries. Some of them studied in France at Agro Sup in Montpellier or in Bordeaux. They worked in different countries abroad.

This winery is situated near Manisa (Salihli) in Denizli region (not too far from the Aegean Sea).

Let’s taste now this Sauvignon Blanc :

The nose is very aromatic with lemon curd, crème brûlée, butter and white peach.

Medium body, medium high acidity. Very high fruit concentration. Very well balanced.

This wine was aged on lees hence the creamy texture.

It’s a rare specialty.

On the palate, green melon, pear, grapefruit, green pepper and butter.

Creasy finish with apple blossom and some saline flavours.

With this wine I feel love. It’s rich, generous and at the same time incredibly elegant.

It’s a wine for a gastronomic restaurant.

I’m very impressed by this wine.

It’s one of my big crushes this year.
