Points : 8,25/10
Price : 195 TL at Mensiz Mahzen (Osmanbey).
Red fruits, sour cherry, cassis, grenade, sweet spices, pines and some smoky and balsamic notes.
A strong but round full bodied wine, very elegant and complex with smooth smoky tannins. Acidity is high. It’s very well balanced.
On the palate, you’ve got flavours of black currant, prune, sour cherry, cardamom, dried fruits and some hints of violet and thyme in the medium long finish.
It’s a good wine, perfect with some köfte but to be honest, it’s actually overpriced. 120 TL, ok. 195? Really?
