It’s always exciting to taste a new grape. Tilki Kuyruğu is a white grape but the one grown in Elmalı is black.

The name means “Fox tail” because of the firm of the bunch.

I really liked this rosé made by Likya winery.

It has a nice dark salmon colour.

It’s very aromatic with notes of strawberries, apples and nectarines.

On the palate, it has medium high acidity, it’s very light with flavours of red berries and citrus with a dash of minerality.

The finish is medium with spicy notes of cranberries.

I would drink it with spicy food.

I really enjoyed it. It’s a welcome addition to the long list of good wines made by Likya winery.
