It’s not my first Sauvignon blanc made by Pamukkake from the Artı serie.
Grown in the southern part of Denizli, the grapes were partly fermented in new French oak barrels and in steel tanks.
On the nose, notes of citrus zest, green apple, asparagus and whiff of freshly cut grass.
The palate is bright and refreshing, with a crisp acidity that carries flavors of juicy grapefruit, lemon verbena, and green melon. The cool temperature fermentation preserves the wine’s racy, mineral-tinged character, while the portion of new French oak aging lends a pleasing roundness to the mid-palate.
The finish is clean and lingering.
As enjoyable as ever. 8,75/10
