Saranta 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot

Points : 8,5/10 Price : Around 90 TL A beautifully aromatic nose. This blend has strong aromas of dark fruits. Tannins are persistent but soft. It’s very well balanced. Flavours are rich and plentiful with blueberry, raspberry, chocolate and prune. The finish is long and savoury. One of my favourite reds this summer.

Tellus Aydin 2014 Syrah Petit Verdot

Points : 7,5/10 Price : Around 90 TL Spicy nose. Black pepper, black berries. Underwood and herbal notes. Velvety texture, quite strong tannins. Plum and spices in the long finish. A quite pleasant wine. I’m not totally seduced though.

Pamukkale Nodus 2015 Chardonnay

Points : 7,5/10 Price : 84 TL The nose is quite aromatic (white flowers) and slightly smoky. The texture is refined and elegant and slightly buttery. Acidity is high. The finish is long with citrus flavours. Another good white wine made by Pamukkale Winery.
