Urla Serendias Roze 2016 : despite the red colour of this rosé wine, I chose to taste it. The combination of Pinot Noir and Kalecik Karası was quite promising, at least intriguing. Urla is also a very good brand doing very interesting wines with a strong personality. Further more this rosé is not cheap (62 TL). So for all of these reasons I was expecting a good surprise.

I’m sorry to say that it is a big disappointment. The nose is rather aromatic with flavours of strawberry. But once in the mouth it’s like the grenadine sirup I used to drink in my childhood except this one has a strong dose of alcohol! A kind of semi-sweet chemical childish stuff that can’t cost 62 TL. Come on!

Well, I presume you guessed it. I didn’t like it.
