Points : 8/10
Price : 150 TL at La Cave
I really liked this wine except for the price…
On the mouth, I’ve detected lemon, orange zest, green apple, white pear and white flower aromas.
Acidity is quite high with a strong alcoholic taste surprising at 12.3 degrees.
It’s quite lively but not as mineral as usual.
It has interesting flavours of iris, grass and green plum.
Honeysuckle can be detected in the medium finish.
A very good example of the Emir grape at a ridiculously high price at La Cave. The 2017 vintage was sold at the winery for 58 TL. It’s better to order directly from them.
