I’ve already had the pleasure to drink this beautiful Syrah made by Sevilen wineries. This 2012 vintage has a velvet texture, is very well balanced and has a light acidity. The nose is full of dark fruits and undergrowth. Once in the mouth this wine is surprisingly fresh and still young and yet complex with flavours of blackberry, blueberry, mint, liquorice, cooked fruits and tobacco. The finish is medium with some hint of violette. A beautiful Syrah as I like them. Some more years will make this wine even more complex and enjoyable.
