Likya Winery Collection Pinot Meunier 2014 : I hesitated to put that wine on my list. I’m not a fan but still let’s have some respect for the people who decided to take the risk to make wine from Pinot Meunier. This grape is almost always used to produce champagne. Associated to Pinot Noir in general.

The nose is kind of rude, a bit like if you had fallen in the mud. There are flavours of stone, rain, earth … and some dark cherry. In the mouth some red fruits can be felt. But this wine has an astringent feeling and to be honest I wouldn’t drink it again.

Nevertheless, as an experiment, it was interesting.
