Porta Caeli Ament 2014 : This Bordeaux blend is a beauty. I’m not a fan of their Cabernet Franc as I wrote before but this wine really is one of my favourite. Full bodied but not heavy, beautiful tannins, first aromas of wild strawberry, mint and undergrowth, then, on the mouth, it’s rich and complex with flavours of prune, black cherry and tobacco. Long length, pure pleasure.
