Yedi Bilgeler Phytagoras Reserve 2013 : This blend made with Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Merlot is very enjoyable. Its tannins remind me a bottle of Haut Médoc my grand father used to drink. Not exactly with the same density but it’s quite close. The addition of Syrah makes it softer I guess.

Aromas are immediately strong and persistent with raspberry and mint, then wild strawberry, cassis and liquorice.

The finish is quite long with delightful flavours of meat juice and rosemary.

Perfect with a good steak!

A very good wine at a quite reasonable price.
