Plato Sevilen 2016 Syrah Öküzgözü : Sevilen really is a nice winery. They’re good at making good affordable wines like this one. The nose is quite aromatic. You can smell red fruits like cherry and raspberry. Then once in the mouth plum comes out with other very interesting flavours in the medium long finish like menthol and pepper. Tannins are very soft, not much acidity. Reminds me some wines from the Rhône Valley. Quite nice with red meat or some kebabs.
