Those two grapes are like brother and sister. Sauvignon Blanc tends to be more aromatic and Sauvignon Gris more voluptuous, even richer in texture.
Let’s taste this wine now :
On the nose we can feel citrus aromas like grapefruit, orange peel but also melon.
On the palate it’s mineral with a taste of yellow apple and apricot.
I’ve detected herbaceousness in the medium finish.
Because of those herbal notes, this wine goes perfectly with pesto sauce. It’s just the perfect match really!
A quite pleasant wine.
