Another beautiful wine from USCA vineyards! This one is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (80%) and Merlot (20%) and as always it has the number of a Shakespeare’s sonnet.

On the nose I detected dark fruits, underwood and sweet spice aromas.

It has medium high tannins and it is well balanced despite the high alcohol (14%).

The palate is swinging between sweet and acid with prune, blackberry and chocolate flavours with hints of violette in the succulent finish.

I think this is a wine pairing perfectly with lamb : A rosemary braised lamb shanks or a lamb Tagine.
