On the nose, strawberry jam, crushed gravel, roasted pepper, liquorice and dried herbs
A bit too early to taste it, tannins are hard on the palate but the acidity is high so this is a wine you can keep for 10 years minimum.
Flavours are black raspberry, black cherry, sweet dried strawberry and cedar and violet in the long finish.
A very high quality Cabernet Franc that you’ll need to decant in a carafe or just an hour before tasting it.
It should go well with tomato based pasta dishes, roasted chicken or turkey and of course with a lot of grilled meats.
