I had a cheap Zinfandel ages ago but it’s definitely my first Turkish Zinfandel!

On the nose it’s kind of aggressive with strong flavours of barbecue meats, leather, plum and strawberry.

Ii’s medium full bodied with light tannins.

On the palate I detected sweet tobacco, loganberry and white pepper.

Needless to say, it’s not my kind of wine but we all have different tastes.
