Shiluh is one of the last remaining Syriac wine companies in Turkey.

The Syriac community is maybe the oldest Christian community in the world.

Here are two grapes, Mazrona and Kerkush, native to Mardin area situated in Eastern Anatolia.

It’s very aromatic, on the nose sweet citrus, orange peel and flowers can be felt.

It’s a light bodied wine with a medium acidity.

The mouth is round and slightly oily, It has a fresh zesty note with a bright warm citrus candy flavour.

The finish is very dry and mineral with hints of herbs and flowers.

A very lively, rich and fruity wine that will pair well to grilled fish, sea food salad, grilled chicken, pasta and fresh cheese.
