We tried this wine at Minör restaurant in Yalıkavak, Bodrum.
This blend made by Vinkara winery needs to be poured in a carafe before drinking. Then the intense aromas of blackberry, cassis and vanilla spice can properly appear. Merlot adds some plumy and red cherry notes that balances Cabernet’s structure, while Syrah adds some peppery characteristics with hints of coffee and toasted bread.
This is a rich, tannic, full bodied wine with concentrated fruit flavours and complexity, very enjoyable even if a bit too alcoholic to my taste.
Will pair well with grilled red meat.
