Vinolus is a boutique winery from Cappadocia which produces organically grown grapes. They’re one of a few wineries in Turkey to hold an organic agriculture certificate.
As far as I know, they produce 3 white wine grapes (Narince, Chardonnay and Roussanne) and 3 red wine grapes (Kalecik Karası, Syrah and Tempranillo).
I must add that their 100% Roussanne is unique in Turkey(apart from Suvla which has a blend made of Roussanne and Marsanne) and it’s also on my opinion one the best white wine in the country. If you find it, just buy it immediately as it is quite hard to find.
Now here is a rosé blend made of Tempranillo and Kalecik Karası.
On the nose, tropical flavours, red berries, melon, peach, pear and cotton candy
Very fresh, medium acidity, medium plus body. 14 degrees. Very well balanced. You don’t feel the alcohol too much.
Strawberry, pear, nectarine, cotton candy on the palate. Some hints of rose leaves.
Fresh and acidic finish.
A very pleasant wine with its own original personality.
